Prime Cars Rental welcomes tourists, business travelers, and expatriates from all countries. Renting a luxury or supercar in Bangkok as a foreigner is straightforward — here is exactly what you need:
Your passport must be valid for the duration of the rental. A photocopy will be retained on file as part of the rental agreement. If you hold dual citizenship, either passport is acceptable.
Thailand is a signatory to the 1968 Vienna Convention on Road Traffic, which means a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) accompanied by your home country driver’s license is legally required to drive in Thailand as a foreign visitor.
A credit card in the renter’s name is required for the security deposit hold. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. The card must have sufficient available credit to cover the deposit.
The minimum rental age is 25 for all vehicles. For ultra-luxury and supercar categories, we may request additional documentation from first-time renters.
Our team conducts a brief orientation for high-performance vehicles before handover, explaining controls, features, and driving characteristics — especially helpful for first-time supercar renters.

Every vehicle is 100% company-owned — no broker or partner cars. All vehicles carry Paint Protection Film (PPF) and are regularly detailed to showroom standard.

Vehicle delivery to any Bangkok location is free — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays. No hidden delivery charges.
Our driver delivers the vehicle and conducts a full condition inspection with you. Pre-existing damage is documented and photographed by both parties before you sign. The same inspection occurs on return.
Deposits are pre-authorized on your credit card and released within 7 business days of vehicle return and inspection. No charge unless there is damage.

Can I rent a luxury car in Bangkok as a tourist?
Yes. Tourists with a valid passport, International Driving Permit, and credit card can rent any car in our fleet. We have served clients from USA, UK, Australia, Germany, France, Japan, China, Singapore, UAE, and 50+ countries.
Do you have English-speaking staff?
Yes. Our team communicates fluently in English via WhatsApp and LINE. All rental agreements are available in both Thai and English. Most senior staff also speak Chinese and Japanese.
Can I drive to Pattaya, Phuket, or Chiang Mai?
Yes. Our vehicles may be driven anywhere in Thailand with no geographic restrictions. Many clients rent in Bangkok and drive to Pattaya (2 hours), Hua Hin (3 hours), or have the car flown ahead to Phuket for the drive from the airport.
Is there a mileage limit?
Standard daily rentals include 200–300 km per day depending on vehicle. Additional kilometers are charged at a per-km rate stated in the agreement. Monthly contracts typically include very generous or unlimited mileage.
Can I add a second driver?
Yes. Additional drivers can be added to the rental agreement. Each driver must present their passport and IDP and meet age and license requirements. A small admin fee may apply.
What happens if I have an accident?
Call our 24/7 emergency line immediately (+66 81-954-2451). Do not move the vehicle unless necessary for safety. Photograph all vehicles and obtain the other driver’s details. Our team coordinates with the insurance company and guides you through the entire process — in English.
Can I get a VAT receipt for business expenses?
Yes. We issue official VAT tax invoices under Primes Automotive Co., Ltd. (Tax ID: 0105559189668). Invoices can be issued in your company name. Please request this when signing the rental agreement.
What fuel does the car use?
All vehicles are delivered with a full tank. Most supercars require premium 95+ octane gasoline — our team advises on the correct fuel for your vehicle. The car should be returned full, or a fuel surcharge applies.
Is there a GPS / navigation system?
Yes. All our vehicles have built-in GPS navigation compatible with Google Maps. Many models also support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Our team shows you how to use the system at handover.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start time receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a fee. Contact us via WhatsApp and we will do our best to accommodate date changes.
